About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a school based in Cranleigh. The school caters for students aged 5-19 with complex and severe learning difficulties, and we are looking for someone with a passion for helping pupils with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and specialist drama, art, and music therapists
  • Support students with complex and severe learning difficulties
  • Work collaboratively with the inclusion team to provide a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements
  • Permanent contract
  • Full-time, 36 hours a week, in the below pattern: Monday 8:30-16:00, Thursday 8:30-16:15, and Fridays 8:30-15:45
  • Salary dependent on experience, however no previous experience is necessary
  • Physical and mental resilience is crucial
