About the Role

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Administration Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the administration team, you will be responsible for providing daily till reconciliation, maintaining accurate records of cash, card, and meal voucher transactions, and banking all cash. You will also be responsible for managing the ordering and control of bulk change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate store records, including inventory, sales reports, and staff hospitality orders.
  • Assist in the processing of invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documentation.
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, and direct them to the appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Support the store management team in coordinating promotional activities and store events.
  • Assist with stock management, including monitoring inventory levels, conducting stock counts, and placing reorders as required.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and performance reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with experience in retail administration (preferred but not essential—training will be provided).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using retail management software.
  • Proactive and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Customer-focused attitude and a willingness to support various store activities.
