Adult Living Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Adult Independent Living Worker to join our team at Pin Point Health & Social Care.
About the Role:This is a 3-month fixed-term contract, working 3 days a week (Monday to Friday, 10am-6pm) at our client's location in Croydon. The role is based in a ten-bed rapid assessment unit for customers referred to them.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive risk and needs assessments and Housing Benefit applications for service users.
- Work collaboratively with service users to identify their strengths and goals through an asset-based approach to support.
- Perform regular Health and Safety inspections to ensure a safe environment.
- Remove items, clean, and prepare rooms for new occupants as required.
- Experience of supporting vulnerable adults to achieve independent living.
- Understanding of the reasons behind homelessness and the needs and challenges faced by individuals.
- Knowledge of statutory and voluntary resources available to homeless people, including welfare benefits.
