Job Title: Adult Independent Living Worker

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Adult Independent Living Worker to join our team at Pin Point Health & Social Care.

About the Role:

This is a 3-month fixed-term contract, working 3 days a week (Monday to Friday, 10am-6pm) at our client's location in Croydon, a 10-bed rapid assessment unit for customers referred to them.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive risk and needs assessments and Housing Benefit applications for service users.
  2. Work collaboratively with service users to identify their strengths and goals through an asset-based approach to support.
  3. Perform regular Health and Safety inspections to ensure a safe environment.
  4. Remove items, clean, and prepare rooms for new occupants as required.
Requirements:
  1. Experience of supporting vulnerable adults to achieve independent living.
Knowledge and Skills:
  1. Understanding of the reasons behind homelessness and the needs and challenges faced by individuals.
  2. Knowledge of statutory and voluntary resources available to homeless people, including welfare benefits.
