We are seeking a talented and dedicated Childrens Home Manager to join our team and lead our efforts in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience working with children and young people, with at least 2 years in a senior or deputy manager role, and 1 year supervising and managing staff in a care role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operations to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, ensuring they are protected from harm and abuse
  • Implement and embed the DDP model of care across all areas in line with the Statement of Purpose
  • Develop, supervise, and support the staff team, including the Deputy Manager
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations 2015
  • Oversee budgeting, admissions, discharges, and rota management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Social Workers, CAMHS, and other professionals
  • Coordinate with commissioning partners, LSCB, and Ofsted
  • Facilitate staff training, supervision, and development
  • Maintain the homes high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation

Requirements:

  • Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People)
  • Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or working towards)
  • Full UK Driving Licence and business motor insurance

Salary: £42,000 - £46,000 per year, with on-target earnings up to £49,500, including performance and yearly bonuses.
