Financial Operations Coordinator

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking to take the next step in your career? We are working with a dynamic and fast-growing manufacturing company based in the UK, currently seeking a motivated Financial Operations Coordinator to join their busy finance team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of accounting functions, with responsibility for the financial operations of two sites. You will report directly to the Finance Director and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full management of the sales ledger, including invoicing, reconciliation, and credit control to ensure timely payments.
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting the month-end close process.
- Assisting the Finance Director with ad-hoc financial tasks and providing analysis to support decision-making.
- Managing the financial operations of two sites, ensuring all processes are efficient and accurate.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar Financial Operations Coordinator role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in SAP is desirable.
- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manage complex data and generate meaningful reports.
- A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude, with a focus on personal development and career progression.
