Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Civil Engineering Project Director to lead our team in delivering high-quality projects across Kent and Sussex.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent project control capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading project teams to deliver high-quality projects that meet client expectations.
  • Managing project budgets and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensuring rigorous health and safety standards across all sites, preventing accidents and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to promote seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a project manager or director, with a strong background in construction management.
  • Expertise in budgeting, resource allocation, and construction safety practices, with a focus on compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in managing construction projects from inception to completion, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills to address challenges proactively and drive project progress.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership abilities to inspire and guide teams effectively, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and standards, including SMSTS certification or equivalent site management safety accreditation.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential with equivalent experience).

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
