**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Theatre Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our theatre department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our theatres.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Clean and maintain the theatre area, scrub room, and exit rooms, including all furniture, fittings, and specialized equipment.
* Monitor and maintain stock levels of materials and equipment in each theatre area.
* Prepare packs, set up trolleys, and setup theatres for scrub teams.
* Order CSSD, TSSU, stores, and instruments for the next day's list.
* Act as a circulating assistant during operative procedures.
* Deal with specimens and measure urine and blood loss.
* Set up theatre for the next day's list, ensuring instruments, trays, etc. are available and recording shortages.
* Receive and identify patients for clinical/operative procedures and support them while in the anaesthetic room.
* Ensure all relevant information is recorded on the computerized patient information sheet.
* Complete any necessary documentation for nursing records.
* Promote and maintain safety and security of the environment by adhering to theatre protocols and policies.
* Respect patients' dignity and religious/cultural beliefs at all times.
**Requirements**
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
* Basic knowledge of theatre protocols and policies.
