About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Scrub Nurse to join our team at Alder Hey Children's Hospital. As a key member of the operating theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing treatment.

As a Theatre Scrub Nurse, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining sterile equipment, assisting surgeons during operations, and ensuring patient safety throughout surgical interventions.

This is a flexible shift role, allowing you to manage your work hours effectively and contribute to a balanced lifestyle.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team
  • Participating in the assessment of patient care needs and implementing and maintaining agreed standards of care
  • Following Codes of Professional Practice to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing treatment within the Peri-Operative Environment

What you'll need:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience as a Registered Nurse in Theatres
  • Registered with the NMC
