Catch22 exists to help build a society where everyone has a good place to live, good people around them, and a fulfilling purpose. We improve lives through frontline delivery of public services, and we use our knowledge to change 'the system' by fixing the complex web that can trap and disempower those it was set up to help.
We believe that with effective support mechanisms and the correct interventions, we can change service users' ideology, helping them desist from crime and reach their true potential.
About the Role
As a Wellbeing Practitioner – Prison Lead, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals to rehabilitate and reintegrate into society. You will focus on four pathways: Family and Significant Others, Lifestyle and Associates, Emotional Wellbeing, and Social Inclusion.
You'll manage a caseload of service users both in the community and custody, delivering tailored interventions that promote positive change. This includes helping individuals build coping skills, manage emotions, develop resilience, and foster pro-social behaviors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of service users
- Deliver tailored interventions to promote positive change
- Help individuals build coping skills, manage emotions, develop resilience, and foster pro-social behaviors
What We're Looking For
- GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
- Evidence of professional development
- Relevant qualifications in criminology, social care, mental health, or similar fields (desirable)
- Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and rehabilitation strategies
- Willingness to travel and work flexibly across various sites
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and personal development
Benefits
This is a permanent full-time position, 38 hours per week. The salary for this role is £34,000 per annum. Successful admission to post subject to enhanced DBS check, HMPPS vetting clearance, and employer Right To Work in the UK check.
