Behaviour Mentor Job Description

As a Behaviour Mentor at Protocol Education, you will play a vital role in supporting students aged 11-16 years with their behaviour and focus. You will provide one-to-one support and sometimes work with small groups, using your skills and experience to make a positive impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to students, helping them to develop positive behaviour and improve their focus.
  • Work with students to set and achieve goals, using a structured approach to monitor progress and provide feedback.
  • Support students with their academic exercises, helping them to stay on track and make progress.
  • Keep accurate records of student progress, using this information to inform future support and planning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and effective approach to student support.

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills and a confident manner.
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion and positivity, with a commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.
  • Calm and approachable, with a patient and empathetic approach to working with students.
