Assistant Construction Manager

Bellway plc is looking for a skilled Assistant Construction Manager to join their Eastern Counties division. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for construction management to take on a key role in the company's success.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of a construction development site, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective works are completed within given timescales. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Site Manager in managing day-to-day site operations, providing clear direction to site staff regarding their responsibilities and targets.
- Assisting in implementing health and safety procedures, working closely with Bellway's Health and Safety Managers to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Motivating and supporting directly employed site staff, providing training, coaching, and support to improve performance.
- Maintaining site presentation at the required standard at all times.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of working as an Assistant Site Manager or equivalent with a high-volume residential house builder.
- Proven ability to effectively manage teams and lead by example.
- Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety and building legislation.
