About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Victim Services team as a Victim Services Officer. This exciting opportunity will enable you to make a real difference to victims of crime in Sussex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of the Commissioning Strategy, driven by the priorities in the Police and Crime Plan.
  • Be part of the Victim Services team responsible for providing victim services across Sussex, including allocating funding to projects and overseeing service delivery.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure that victims of crime receive a quality service.
  • Support the management and monitoring of services, as well as the commissioning of new services.
  • Lead on the Safe Space Sussex Funding Network.
Requirements
  • Excellent planning and task management skills.
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of commissioning public sector services, including monitoring and management of service delivery.
