We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HMP Lewes, a category B male prison. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering pharmacy services to our patients, working closely with our healthcare team to provide high-quality care.
About the Role
This is a full-time position, with a competitive annual salary up to £31,710 per annum FTE, depending on experience. You will be required to work on a rota basis, including nights, bank holidays, and weekends. However, we understand the importance of work-life balance and are open to discussing flexibility options with the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the delivery of pharmacy services, including medicine management, administering medications, and patient counselling
- Working on the prison wings, participating in activities concerning the day-to-day operational management of the unit
- Undertaking risk assessments and demonstrating assessment skills
- Treating patients with respect and dignity at all times
