About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HMP Lewes, a category B male prison. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of pharmacy services to patients.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for supporting the pharmacy team in the delivery of pharmacy services, including medicine management, administering medications, and patient counselling. You will also be involved in the day-to-day operational management of the unit and will be required to participate in certain activities.
Person Specification
We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, able to work autonomously, and has sound patient counselling skills. You will also need to be able to demonstrate assessment skills, including the undertaking of risk assessments.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of up to £31,710 per annum FTE, depending on experience. You will also receive a bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course, and will have access to regional and national career development opportunities.
