Job Overview

This role is for a Director of Programme Management, responsible for leading large-scale infrastructure projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in programme management, specifically in the construction and infrastructure sectors.

The salary range for this position is £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead programme delivery teams to achieve project goals, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely completion, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and construction, to drive project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and control project costs, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing measures to optimize expenditure.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to maintain open dialogue and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in programme management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
