About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our Programme Management Office, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our Private Finance Initiative (PFI) Exit project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the quality, performance management, and delivery of the PFI exit project.
  • Work closely with Executives/Senior managers and PFI partners to plan and implement the PFI exit for Neath Port Talbot Hospital.
  • Ensure all projects and work streams are properly structured, reported on, and tracked to deliver programme outcomes and benefits.
Requirements
  • Masters degree or equivalent.
  • PRINCE II and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) qualification.
  • Management qualification or equivalent.
  • Extensive senior management experience, including management of people and financial resources.
  • Experience of working in multiple sectors and applying private/other sector initiatives successfully in healthcare.
Desirable Skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Evidence of specialist knowledge and expertise in project management.
  • High levels of intellectual flexibility that enables the reasoned assessment of a situation.
