Senior Project Manager, Neath Port Talbot Hospital PFI Exit

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Programme Manager to join the Swansea Bay University Health Board team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the quality, performance management, and delivery of the PFI exit project.
This role has considerable freedom to act, with demonstration of experience in managing successful complex projects and partnership working with the public sector.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main Duties of the JobThis role will be responsible for:
- Managing the quality, performance management, and delivery of the PFI exit project
- Working closely with Executives/Senior managers and PFI partners to plan and implement the PFI exit for Neath Port Talbot Hospital
- Ensuring that all projects and work streams are properly structured, reported on, and tracked in order to deliver programme outcomes and benefits

Person SpecificationQualifications
Essential
- Masters degree or equivalent
- PRINCE II and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) qualification
- Management qualification or equivalent
Desirable
- Proficient using Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Skills
Essential
- Extensive senior management experience, including management of people and financial resources
- Experience of working in multiple sectors and show evidence of applying private/other sector initiatives successfully in healthcare
Desirable
- Evidence of specialist knowledge and expertise in project management
- High levels of intellectual flexibility that enables the reasoned assessment of a situation
