Project Engineer for Civils and Geotechnical

Location: Dartford and Port Talbot, Wales (with flexibility for other locations in pre-construction)
Senior Agent, Site Agent, Project Manager, Lead Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in delivering a complex power generation project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for liaising with Technical Leads, Design, H&S, and Quality to prepare a major site for delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with in-house delivery teams and subcontractors to ensure works are planned in compliance with client standards and the scope.
  • Manage teams of in-house engineering professionals, including Site, Section, and Senior Engineers.
  • Maintain a positive safety culture on site, attending morning briefings and coordination meetings.
  • Strong Civil Engineering knowledge or Structural Engineering experience on large concrete projects.
  • CPCS Appointed person.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment, such as Rail or Nuclear, is preferred.
  • Communicates professionally, both orally and in writing.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or appropriate route into Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • The role will require time in the office for planning pre-construction.
