We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Industry Health and Safety Expert to join our team at Galliford Try Holdings plc.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the Health & Safety Strategy & Business Improvement Plan to ensure our operations meet exemplary Safety & Health standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing H&S input to operational teams from the planning stage through to completion of any works, through guidance, advice and support to support proactive planning and implementation of H&S standards and take appropriate action where our standards are not met.
  • Supporting operational staff in the review of high-risk method statements and risk assessments.

Key Requirements:

  • A good awareness and understanding of Project Lifecycles, Construction Techniques and Processes.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and reporting systems.
  • Experience of preparing and delivering SHE presentations and related training.
  • Able to judge situations and ask for help as and when is needed.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include generous holiday entitlement, wide range of corporate discounts, comprehensive pension plan, and private medical scheme options.
