Job Title: Nuclear Construction Expert

Company Overview: Altrad is a leading international group providing industrial services to the energy, construction and manufacturing sectors.

Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an expert in nuclear construction to join our team as a Lead HVAC Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems on a major nuclear new build project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Design: Collaborate with design partners to develop HVAC system designs that meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Installation Management: Oversee the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with nuclear safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Commissioning and Testing: Manage the commissioning and testing of HVAC systems, ensuring they are functioning correctly and safely.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of HVAC system installations, including test results and regulatory submissions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management and project stakeholders on construction progress, key milestones, and any issues requiring resolution.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC construction within the nuclear sector, with a proven track record in new build EPC projects.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, nuclear safety regulations, and construction practices, strong leadership and team management abilities.
