Job Title: Housing Resolutions Officer

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Housing Resolutions Officer to join our team at Young Devon. As a Housing Resolutions Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting young people aged 16-25 who are care experienced and transitioning into independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and work alongside young people to support them in maintaining or accessing accommodation.
  • Build relationships of trust and understanding with young people, responding to their needs through a trauma-informed lens.
  • Support young people to make decisions, have their voice heard, and access the services they need.
  • Work in partnership with Teignbridge District Council to provide housing support services.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of housing protocols, legislation, and housing options.
  • Ability to work with young people who have experienced multiple disadvantages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
