As a Deskside Support Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for users, providing technical resolution of desktop incidents and requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage tickets, prioritize work, and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Address aged tickets, update pended tickets, and monitor SLAs in real-time.
  • Keep customers updated throughout the life of an incident, ensuring satisfactory call resolution.
  • Update the Incident Management System with progress and call resolution details.
  • Resolve high-priority/impact incidents efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager for service delivery escalations.
  • Handle technical and client issues, escalating to the Operations Manager or Service Delivery Manager as necessary.
  • Recommend service improvements to Management and participate in their implementation.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated team player with good technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Pride in quality work and a willingness to learn new technology and skills.
  • Understanding of the client's business demands and the ability to turn them into customer-led solutions.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10, Adobe Acrobat suite, MS Office 365, MS Outlook, Lotus Notes, and other listed technologies.
  • Technical Microsoft Accreditations and Service Management (ITIL) awareness.
  • Full driving license, access to a car, and ability to travel to satellite locations.
  • Right to work in the UK and ability to demonstrate this at interview.
