Located in Farnborough, our client is a leading aerospace manufacturer seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team. With a strong focus on quality standards and efficient production processes, this role offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to drive best-in-class practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Optimisation: Develop and implement manufacturing processes to achieve high standards of quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Tooling and Fixturing: Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement tooling and fixtures that support production needs.
  • Production Support: Provide ongoing support for daily production activities, ensuring smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement, enhance efficiency, and maintain quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering and experience in welding, fabrication, or metal forming. Familiarity with ERP systems, CAD software (e.g., Catia, SolidWorks), Six Sigma methodologies, and quality control tools is also essential.

Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 4:00pm and Friday 7:00am to 12:00pm. Occasional travel to other UK sites, customers, and suppliers may be required.
