Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Optimization Specialist to join our team at Tech Connect Group. This role is crucial in optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards, and supporting efficient production within a dynamic aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and methods to achieve high standards of quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate on the design and implementation of tooling and fixtures to support production needs.
  • Provide ongoing support for daily production activities, ensuring smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
  • Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement, enhance efficiency, and maintain quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Welding, fabrication, or metal forming experience is advantageous.
  • Background in aerospace manufacturing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and CAD software (e.g., Catia, SolidWorks).
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, APQP/PPAP methodologies, and quality control tools.
Benefits:
  • Estimated salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Competitive benefits package, including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, life insurance, health insurance, company uniform, and on-site parking.
  • Standard working hours: 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 12:00pm on Friday (39 hours/week).
