About the Role:

As a Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our young adults with severe and profound learning difficulties and complex health needs. Your primary focus will be on ensuring their physical and emotional well-being, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to our young adults, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with getting them ready for bed and encouraging healthy sleeping patterns.
  • Monitor their medical needs and respond to any incidents that may occur during the night.
  • Participate in light housekeeping duties, such as loading the dishwasher and laundry, during quiet periods.
  • Support our young adults to get up, washed, and dressed in the morning, ready for the day ahead.
Requirements:

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about building relationships and making a positive impact on the lives of our young adults. You will need to demonstrate:

  • Exceptional communication skills and patience.
  • Ability to guide and encourage supportive independence.
  • Resilience and a robust, positive nature.
  • Ability to be creative in meeting the needs of our young adults.
