Job Title: Young Adult Support Worker - Residential Specialist Service

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Young Adult Support Worker to join our team at a Residential Specialist Service in Meldreth, Hertfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care and support to young adults with special educational needs and disabilities.

About the Role:
  • Provide high levels of care during daily activities such as washing, dressing, socialising, learning, and personal care.
  • Assist with therapy sessions, including hydrotherapy and rebound therapy.
  • Communicate effectively and build strong relationships to empower young adults to grow and develop.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment.
  • Help develop learning and social skills wherever possible.
Requirements:
  • Willingness to work towards achieving a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care (funded by our client).
  • Robust, positive, and creative approach to meeting the needs of young adults.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and team working skills.
  • High level of resilience and patience.
  • Ability to follow personal care routines.
  • Ability to work within a rota pattern that typically requires working every other weekend.
