We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Young Adult Support Worker to join our team at a specialist residential service in Meldreth, Hertfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care and support to young adults with special educational needs and disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality care and support to young adults during daily activities, including washing, dressing, socializing, and learning.
- Assist with therapy sessions, such as hydrotherapy and rebound therapy.
- Build strong relationships with young adults, empowering them to grow and develop.
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment.
- Help develop learning and social skills.
- Qualification: Level 3 Diploma HSC (funded by our client) or willingness to work towards achieving it.
- Positive and creative approach to meeting the needs of young adults.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and team working skills.
- High level of resilience and patience.
- Ability to follow personal care routines.
- Ability to work within a rota pattern, including every other weekend.
- Full training and continued support.
- Opportunity to study the Level 3 diploma in Residential Child Care, funded by us.
- Welcome bonus: 50% following successful completion of probation and 50% after one year of service.
