Occupational Therapist

About the Role
NHS Scotland is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services to the community. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health Professional Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients with diverse range of conditions, including frail elderly, neurological conditions, and post-falls and fractures.
- Lead and participate in the Occupational Therapy team, receiving full support from senior Occupational Therapy practitioners and Physiotherapy colleagues.
- Liaise closely with care at home and enablement staff, as well as the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Develop and implement in-service training programs for the AHP department, and participate in organizational training opportunities.
- Drive a UK-registered vehicle and have access to a vehicle for community therapy.
Requirements
- UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Experience in community therapy and elderly care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
