We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Medical team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert input to the acute medical receiving unit and medical wards of this busy acute teaching hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to patients in an acute medical setting.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote patient independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff members.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • High standard of Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention skills.
  • Clinical experience working as an Occupational Therapist in an acute or rehabilitation setting.
  • Experience of providing clinical or non-clinical supervision.
