Job Summary:
NHS Lothian is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Medical team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessment and intervention services to patients in the acute medical receiving unit and medical wards.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to promote patient independence and well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy policies and procedures.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff members.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication, time management, and prioritization skills.
- High standard of occupational therapy assessment and intervention skills.
- Clinical experience working as an occupational therapist within an acute or rehabilitation setting.
- Experience of providing clinical or non-clinical supervision.
