Our team at Brainkind is passionate about delivering exceptional care to individuals with brain injuries. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing clinical leadership and expertise to our multi-disciplinary team.
Job Summary
This role involves assessing, implementing, and evaluating programmes of person-centred care, promoting choice and independence in all aspects of clinical practice.
Main Duties
- Assess service user needs and develop individualised treatment plans
- Promote open communication and encourage feedback from service users and their representatives
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and volunteers to deliver high-quality occupational therapy
- Ensure accurate, up-to-date records are maintained in accordance with professional standards
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues through teaching and mentoring
- Foster a safe working environment, maintaining confidentiality and undertaking additional tasks as required
Person Specification
- Diploma or BSC (Hons) in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with Health & Care Professions Council
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development
- Expertise in OT assessments and interventions, with ability to work autonomously and manage risk efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to build effective relationships
What We Offer
