We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at a specialist neurological care centre in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to individuals with acquired brain injuries and disabilities.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position, working 3 shifts per week across 7 days, with fixed shifts may be considered. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and support.
The ideal candidate will have experience in neurological care, with a strong focus on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualised care plans using evidence-based guidelines. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to maintain accurate records in line with corporate policies and procedures.

Our specialist neurological care centre provides care and support to individuals aged 18 and over, with a range of neurological conditions, including cerebral palsy, head/brain injury, Huntington's disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, and stroke. The service has 50 beds overall, with 22 nursing beds and 28 residential beds. We have a full multidisciplinary team on site, including neuro and clinical psychologists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered nurse with current NMC registration, and have a valid NMC PIN number. You should have experience in neurological care, with a strong understanding of evidence-based guidelines and best practices in this field. A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle would also be advantageous due to the rural location of the service.
