Customer Service Representative

At Marks & Spencer Plc, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Assistant. As the face of our business, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers have a great shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve our customers efficiently: Provide excellent customer service, both on the shop floor and at service points, to ensure that our customers receive a high level of service.
- Keep the store clean and tidy: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring that our shelves are always stocked with product and that the store is free from clutter.
- Monitor and deliver on sales targets: Work closely with the sales team to monitor and deliver on daily sales targets, priorities, promotions, and selling opportunities.
- Proactively engage with customers: Engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations, and deliver remarkable service throughout their visit to store.
- Build expert product knowledge: Develop and maintain expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services.
- Utilize digital tools: Utilize all digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer every time.
- High levels of customer service: Demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers have a great shopping experience.
- Attention to detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Open to feedback: Be open to and act upon feedback, asking for it regularly to ensure continuous improvement.
- Workload management: Take accountability for planning and managing own workload efficiently, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Communication skills: Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
- Adaptability: Demonstrate adaptability to changing situations, being flexible and able to adjust to new challenges and priorities.
- Relationship building: Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues by being a good listener and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork.
- Digital capability: Possess a good level of digital capability, utilizing digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer every time.
