As Senior Lead, you will be responsible for providing expert support, advice, and clinical leadership to our autism service, promoting good access to mainstream healthcare for individuals with autism, and reducing health inequalities and premature mortality.
Main DutiesAs part of our leadership team, you will:
- Provide clinical leadership and support to our autism service, ensuring high-quality care and outcomes for individuals with autism.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote good access to mainstream healthcare, reduce health inequalities, and improve health outcomes for individuals with autism.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the NHS, education, and social care sectors to ensure seamless service delivery and effective partnership working.
- Manage budgets, recruitment, staff management, and other operational tasks to ensure the smooth running of our service.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, manage risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and codes of professional conduct.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a candidate with:
- Extensive clinical knowledge, skill, and experience in the field of autism and learning disabilities.
- Experience of management development through continuous professional development and/or formal management courses.
- Knowledge of current key NHS developments and policies, including those related to autism and learning disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the NHS, education, and social care sectors.
