Job Summary

The Global IT Sourcing and Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the Category Management Team, while upholding the utmost standards of purchase quality and procurement ethics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Category Management Strategy and Leadership
    • Drive the Category Management strategy and portfolio to deliver best-in-class commercial outcomes.
    • Lead the Category Management teams across all Indirect Categories with a core focus on Technology.
    • Deliver the Category Strategy across all Technology Professional Services and Facilities.
    • Lead a team of Category/Procurement professionals.
  • Strategic Planning and Delivery
    • Execute group-wide sourcing, procurement, category, and supplier management strategies that support the group's organizational and other functional strategies.
    • Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve the organization's bottom line.
    • Analyze insights, spending data, and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for optimization in sourcing, procurement, and supplier management.
  • Supplier Contract and Stakeholder Management
    • Manage the contract and supplier management team to ensure the timely execution of contracts and effective supplier performance.
    • Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns with expectations.
    • Manage the capabilities required for end-to-end contract lifecycle and supplier relationship management.
  • People Management
    • Plan, recruit, and manage team capacity to ensure the team is fully staffed and equipped with the resources and skillset required for team effectiveness.
    • Coach team members to continuously develop their capabilities, enabling improved performance and company culture.
    • Manage employee performance in line with company values and principles.
  • Knowledge Practice and Continuous Improvement
    • Ensure team adoption of and adherence to procurement policies and practices to ensure effective and compliant delivery.
    • Implement actions to mitigate the occurrence or impact of risk.
    • Internal Intellectual Property.
    • Make recommendations on ethical sourcing, procurement category, and supplier management that support the group's operational requirements, sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives.
    • Continuously monitor industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Requirements

  • Type of Qualification: Relevant Diploma/Degree/Engineering/Technical/Finance Degree.
  • Certification Required: MCIPS or similar preferred.
