Chief Engineer, Motor Engineering Services

A new opportunity has arisen for a skilled Motor Engineering Manager to join a successful and growing Motor Engineering Services Company, serving multiple clients within the Motor Industry.
This is an exciting chance to take your Motor Engineering and Management experience into a brand new role, leading and developing a team of multi-skilled Motor Engineers, with responsibility for the day-to-day operations.
You will support the Engineering Director with both internal and external client management, interacting with all stakeholders including sub-contractors.

Main Responsibilities:- Recruit, train, and develop new employees to meet business needs.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of staff, providing coaching, counseling, and performance management.
- Problem-solve and deal with customer/client complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Complete own Engineering jobs, utilizing technical expertise to establish the best repair method for damages in line with manufacturer guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience of Motor Engineering team management, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong Motor Industry knowledge and experience in Engineering, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent complaint handling skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve issues effectively.
- MI reporting skills, with the ability to analyze data and provide insights to inform business decisions.
