Motor Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Motor Engineer to join our team at Employment Specialists Ltd. As a Motor Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our company's success by providing expert engineering services to our clients in the motor industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review images and estimate vehicle damage from desktop
  • Engineer vehicle damage and create reports for total loss vehicles and third-party outlays
  • Review estimates from various estimating platforms and negotiate repair costs
  • Instruct physical inspections and quality-check returned reports
  • Engage with clients, vehicle owners, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication
Requirements:
  • Motor industry knowledge and experience in repairing motor vehicles
  • Previous estimating and/or engineering experience
  • Achievement of cost negotiation while maintaining manufacturer standards
  • Proficiency in using multiple systems involved in vehicle repair, such as Audatex and Escribe
  • Excellent communication, organization, and administration skills
