A new opportunity has arisen for a Motors Engineering Professional to work for a successful and growing Motors Engineering Services Company, serving multiple clients within the Motors Industry.
This is your chance to take your Motors Engineering and Management experience into a brand new role.
Due to the growth of the Company, a Manager is needed to lead and develop a team of multi-skilled Motors Engineers, with responsibility for the day-to-day operations.
You will support the Engineering Director with both internal and external client management, interacting with all stakeholders including sub-contractors.
Our Client supports individuals on their learning journey and encourages career progression within the company, recognizing and rewarding high performance within the team.
You may be required to travel and assist other business areas using your technical abilities while managing multiple client allocations.
Main responsibilities of the Motors Engineering Manager include:- Recruiting and training new employees.
- Ensuring compliance with all company policies.
- Conducting performance reviews of staff.
- Coaching, counseling, and performance managing employees.
- Problem-solving and dealing with customer/client complaints.
- Completion of own Engineering jobs, establishing the best repair method for damages in line with manufacturer guidelines on both new and registered vehicles, including authorizing and challenging repair costs as well as estimating damaged vehicles via images.
To be successful in the Motors Engineering Manager's role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience of Motors Engineering team management.
- Motors Industry knowledge and experience in Engineering.
- Complaint handling regarding vehicle repair and cost.
- MI reporting, both internally and externally with the ability to analyze the data.
