Motor Engineering Manager Job Description

Employment Specialists Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Motor Engineering Manager to join our team. As a Motor Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of multi-skilled Motor Engineers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Motor Engineering team management, Motor Industry knowledge, and excellent communication skills. IAEA Membership and ATA VDA and AQP accreditation are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage staff to support them in completing tasks
  • Provide technical knowledge and ensure swift conclusions
  • Recruit and train new employees
  • Ensure compliance with company policies
  • Conduct performance reviews and coaching
  • Communicate progress and needs to Senior Management
  • Problem solve and deal with customer/client complaints

As a Motor Engineering Manager, you will also be required to complete your own engineering jobs, establishing the best repair method for damages in line with manufacturer guidelines.

Requirements:
  • Experience of Motor Engineering team management
  • Motor Industry knowledge and experience in Engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and understand how issues connect
  • Complaint handling regarding vehicle repair and cost
