About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team at CO-AT Marine, a leading provider of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration solutions to the marine and offshore market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment.
  • Read and interpret detailed installation drawings and specifications in line with project requirements.
  • Measure, install, and modify sheet metal using hand tools, machinery, and equipment.
  • Operate power tools and machinery.
  • Install sheet metal components in accordance with project specifications.
  • Ensure all work is performed to high standards of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or similar role.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of various metals.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • UK Driving Licence.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
  • Standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
  • Working in various environments, including workshops and construction sites.
