CO-AT Marine is excited to announce an opportunity for skilled Metal Fabrication Specialists to join our dedicated team. We are focused on expanding our workforce to support various projects across the UK.
Core Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, install, and maintain metal products and systems.
- Interpret and analyze detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape metal materials using hand tools and machinery.
- Operate various power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Install metal components according to project guidelines.
- Uphold high standards of quality and safety in all tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and clean.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in metal fabrication or a related field.
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical schematics.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and metalworking machinery.
- Comprehensive knowledge of different types of metals.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Effective problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
Physical Demands:
- Capability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
- Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in diverse environments, including workshops and construction sites.
