Welding Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Welding Supervisor to join our clients team. As a Supervisor you will be responsible for a small team on a marine renovation project.

This is a hands on role, so you will be responsible for welding, fabricating and assembling, using various welding techniques. This is a full-time position with an excellent contract rate per hour.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform welding tasks using power tools and hand tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Fabricate and weld metal components according to project requirements
- Conduct inspections to ensure the quality of welded products
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Oversee a small team of workers on the project.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Welder
- Proficient in various welding techniques
- Strong marine knowledge and ability to read blueprints
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication is a plus
- Good PC skills to complete paperwork for the project on site

This role is for a duration of 6-9 months then reviewed, hours of work are

7.30am - 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday, 7.30am - 3pm Friday, 47.5 hour working week.
