About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our team at Matchtech. As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for the fabrication of ventilation systems, sheet metal furniture, and other metal components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the fabrication of ventilation systems, including spiral and box vents, and sheet metal furniture, such as lockers and cabinets.
  • Use a range of hand tools and mechanical equipment to deliver precision and quality in the metal work you complete.
  • Help to craft and install ventilation systems on ships, ensuring efficient air circulation.
  • Optimize storage space on board by fabricating sheet metal furniture and creating electrical cable trays and low-pressure pipework trays.
