Job Description: We are seeking a qualified and experienced social worker to fill a challenging and rewarding role within our Children's Assessment & Safeguarding Team. As a Child Protection and Support Coordinator, you will work closely with children, families, and other professionals to provide high-quality services that promote the welfare and safety of children.

About the Team:
Our team is dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and families across the Isle of Wight. We work collaboratively with other agencies to deliver effective services that make a real difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and identify the needs of children and families.
  • Develop and implement plans to support the welfare and safety of children.
  • Work closely with other professionals to coordinate care and support services.
  • Manage caseloads effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Requirements:
This role requires a DipSW or equivalent qualification, HCPC registration, and a current DBS certificate. You should also have 2+ years of experience in Children's Social Work in the UK. A competitive salary is offered for the right candidate.
