We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Head of Service for CAMHS and Adult Eating Disorder Services in Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire.

Main Duties of the Job

The key responsibilities of the role can be summarized as strategy, policy, and delivery across the following domains:

  1. Quality
  2. Workforce
  3. Finance
  4. Performance
  5. Strategic Change
  6. Stakeholder Engagement/Partnership

The Head of Service will own these domains within reporting services, as well as contribute to the Directorate-wide approach across them.

Quality

The Head of Service will ensure that reporting services comply with the five CQC domains:

  1. Safe: people are protected from abuse and avoidable harm
  2. Effective: people's care, treatment, and support achieve good outcomes, promote a good quality of life, and are based on the best available evidence
  3. Caring: the service involves and treats people with compassion, kindness, dignity, and respect
  4. Responsive: services meet people's needs
  5. Well Led: leadership, management, and governance assure the delivery of high-quality and person-centered care, support learning and innovation, and promote an open and fair culture
