We are a leading charity providing care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions in Dorset and Wiltshire.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Member to join our team. The successful candidate will provide holistic care, support, and friendship to children and their families in our Hospice and community settings.

Main Duties

As a Care Team Member, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality, person-centred care to children and their families
  • Supporting with end-of-life care and palliative care
  • Developing and maintaining individualised programmes of activities tailored to each child's needs
  • Working flexibly to support families in their homes and within our Hospice settings
  • Participating in ongoing professional training and development

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold a relevant qualification, such as an NVQ 2/3 in Care or Safeguarding Awareness Level 1
  • Have experience working with children and families in a care or community setting
  • Be able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights
  • Hold a full driving licence and use of a vehicle for business purposes
