Retain Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Care Support Specialist to join their team in Melksham. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism to live with more independence.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, medication, and healthcare appointments
  • Support individuals to access the local community and maintain relationships with family and friends
  • Participate in activities such as trips to pubs and restaurants, music and discos, cinema, and art and craft sessions


Requirements:


  • Minimum 6 months paid experience in a care setting
  • Experience with Autism and LD an advantage but not essential
  • Physical Intervention Training (PBM, PMVA) desirable but not essential
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Criminal records check (DBS) and 3 employment references required
