Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Nurse to join our Consultant led Oral and Maxillofacial Service. This is a permanent post covering clinics from Monday to Friday working across various locations.

Main Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical and non-clinical support to Trust employed Dental clinicians across Somerset. Your duties will include working with the nursing team across clinics, providing guidance and support, and preparing the surgery for patients.

About the Role

You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals, providing high-quality care to patients. You will be responsible for processing dental equipment and instruments, adhering to HTM01-05 and local policies. You will also be expected to maintain accurate documentation and testing processes.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a GDC Registered Dental Nurse qualification, Dental Radiography, and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in Dental Nursing. You should have a good knowledge of Dentistry and be able to lead a team of Dental Nurses effectively. Experience of working in a hospital setting is desirable.
