Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Dental Nurse to join our Consultant-led Oral and Maxillofacial Service. This is a permanent post covering clinics from 0800-1800 Monday to Friday, working across various locations.

Main Responsibilities

You will work as part of a team to provide clinical and non-clinical support to Trust-employed Dental clinicians across Somerset. Your duties will include:

  • Working with the nursing team across clinics to provide guidance and support.
  • Linking between service users and clinicians.
  • Preparing the surgery for service users and assisting clinicians in dental procedures.
  • Processing dental equipment and instruments in accordance with HTM01-05 and local policies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GDC Registered Dental Nurse qualification.
  • Dental Radiography certification.
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in Dental Nursing.
